Responsibilities

Sample Preparation & Testing

  • Assist in sample preparation (drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing)
  • Support routine laboratory testing under supervision
  • Ensure proper labeling, logging, and storage of samples

Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise Laboratory Assistants in daily sample handling tasks
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards
  • Guide assistants to maintain efficiency and accuracy

Laboratory Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workspaces
  • Record laboratory data accurately and report to supervisors
  • Monitor consumables and materials inventory

Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Assist in QAQC procedures by tracking control samples
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety protocols
  • Report equipment issues, hazards, or irregularities

Learning & Development

  • Learn and apply laboratory procedures and best practices

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Laboratory Sciences
    • Chemistry
    • Geology
    • Related field

Experience

  • 0–1 year of experience
  • Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
