Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is a multimodal logistics company operating across Africa and other international markets. As part of the MSC Group, AGL provides logistics services across port, maritime, rail, and other supply-chain activities.

The Solution Expert – HR & HQ Solutions will be based at AGL's Kigali Shared Service Center and will support a portfolio of business applications used by functions including Human Resources, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, QHSE, and Finance.

The position serves as a link between business stakeholders and the IT organization. It combines business analysis, solution management, team leadership, vendor coordination, project delivery, application integration, deployment, and technical governance.

Prepare and maintain functional and technical specifications for transformation and integration projects.

Translate business requirements into clear instructions for development teams.

Prioritize requests and development topics.

Follow projects from initial requirements through implementation and production release.

Integration, Deployment and Quality

Manage application integration and deployments across the AGL network.

Standardize and improve production release processes.

Contribute to application and solution architecture decisions.

Support security-related decisions including authentication and access rights.

Monitor the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.

Performance Tracking

Define performance indicators for applications under the role's responsibility.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or an equivalent field, at Bac+4/5 level.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar solution or IT role.

At least 4 years of cumulative professional experience.

Experience working closely with business or functional teams is strongly preferred.

Experience with HR, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, Finance, QHSE, or equivalent business functions is an advantage.

Knowledge of the logistics and transport sector is a significant advantage.

Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.

Knowledge of business applications and enterprise systems.

Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments is an advantage.

Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 or later.

Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 or later, IIS 7, and SSIS.

Understanding of integration technologies including APIs and sFTP.

Knowledge of SSO technologies such as OpenID Connect and SAML.

Ability to assess technology choices, cybersecurity practices, and integration approaches used by software vendors.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to manage several projects or requests simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Fluent English and French are required.
