Overview

PLAY International Rwanda is recruiting a Pedagogical Assistant to support the implementation of its education and inclusion projects using sport as a learning and social development tool. This opportunity is designed for professionals with strong experience in pedagogy, training delivery, community engagement, and child-focused programming.

PLAY International is a French NGO founded in 1999 with the belief that sport can be a powerful tool for education, social inclusion, reconciliation, and child development. The organization operates in multiple countries and uses structured sporting activities to address social challenges such as:

  • Violence prevention
  • Child protection
  • Community cohesion
  • Healthy lifestyles and wellbeing

PLAY International opened its Rwanda mission in 2024 and is currently supporting the β€œToutes En Sport” programme, which works with schools, coaches, educators, and community facilitators to promote gender equality and prevent violence against children and girls through sports-based learning activities.

The Pedagogical Assistant will work closely with the Pedagogical Coordinator and the broader Rwanda team to support training delivery, educational content development, field follow-up, and monitoring of facilitators and teachers across schools and communities.

This opportunity may particularly appeal to professionals interested in:
