One Acre Fund is recruiting a Rwanda Driver (Fixed-Term) to support the safe and efficient transportation of staff, equipment, and agricultural supplies across Rwanda. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Safely transport staff to meetings, field assignments, and official activities.
• Deliver equipment, supplies, and materials to designated locations.
• Follow all road traffic regulations and organizational transport policies.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning daily transportation schedules.
• Coordinating vehicle movements based on operational needs.
• Communicating effectively with staff regarding transport arrangements.
• Supporting transport coordination across departments when necessary.

The driver will be expected to:

• Keep assigned vehicles clean and presentable.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Report mechanical faults promptly.

• Fuel consumption records
• Maintenance records

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Valid Rwanda Driving License (Category B and D)
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience
• Good knowledge of Rwanda's road network and traffic regulations
• Demonstrated commitment to road safety
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to identify basic mechanical problems
• Experience maintaining transport and fuel records
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Forms, etc.)
• Willingness to travel regularly across Rwanda
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda
• Ability to communicate in English
